Not sure if you made sure of that, if not, then I would suggest trying what the other guy told you and going forward, you should try to save a 2nd backup file in another file location just incase one of them is corrupted. So from what I have research, there does not seem to be a codec particular for Vegas 18 PRO to be able to play these videos. <p>I do not think its an issue on your laptop at all, what I believe could be causing this issue is probably a missing codec that helps you run MP4 properly. I personally have not really run MP4 files on my Adobe Photoshop since its mainly a photo editing app and I deal with MP4 on Vegas Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro.</p>

I pass the clips and I am using Vegas 20, I get the whole video clip there no problem.
