My Friend has Vegas, but can’t import anything with more than one track
I have given my friend a copy of Vegas pro 17, however when he attempts to import videos, something that has one visual and one audio track, it doesn’t allow it into the project. An error message pops up regardless of whether the file is dropped and dragged in, or using the import media option. We have found images work fine, but everything else does not. This is the same with mkv and mp4 files. Any help would be great 🙂

Did you checked and see if you have installed QuickTime Player or K Lite Codec Pack? I remember running into this issue before and when it did, I remember I had to install a codec that was missing in my Sony Vegas in order for me to be able to import other formats like MP4 and WMV. MKV for some reason never worked for me in Sony Vegas and had to use my YTD Video Downloader application in order for me to convert the MKV files to MP4 or WMV which always worked for me.
