My character’s Rig disappeared (Duik Angela). PLEASE HELP ME!!!!
I had to uninstall After Effects to continue a project, but when I installed AE and opened my file again, I realized that my character’s face, hands and Rigs had disappeared.It should be noted that I reinstalled the scripts and presets so that this would not happen.

Did you also made sure that all those files about your character are in the exact same directory as they were when you first started making this projects? Because when you open a project, its going to search for the exact directory you got the item from, otherwise you will have to find the same file from wherever you have it now. When it happens with me in Sony Vegas for example and its unable to locate a file I used, it gives me the opportunity to search for the file manually so I can recover it. Hopefully you are able to do the same even if it has to be one by one. Best of luck there!

Everything is in the same folder, I know because the legs, head and hip rigg respond correctly. I don’t know what the problem could be and I’m very desperate.

So it was in the same folder as last time when it was actually working, right? Did it gave you an opportunity to search for the missing file? Its quite odd indeed… any error messages it generated saying it was missing something or not working on certain parts of the project? Error messages can help identify the source of the problem. Hope to hear back from you soon.
