<p>I&#8217;m honestly not surprised by the behavior you&#8217;re describing.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m guessing your Vegas Project Settings are 29.97.  When you launched Title Studio it saw the project settings of 29.97 and based the length of its text event/render on that.</p>
<p>When you then rendered 59fps, that&#8217;s double the # of frames that you wanted it to render, but it didn&#8217;t&hellip;</p>

<p>On your 2nd question about chapter marks &#8212; go to &#8220;View&#8211;&gt;Windows&#8211;&gt;Edit Details&#8221;, then change the drop-down for &#8220;Show&#8221; to &#8220;Markers&#8221;.</p>
<p>Regarding docking windows &#8212; you can absolutely do this.  Just drag your floating window where you want it to go and it&#8217;ll &#8220;snap&#8221; into an existing window if you hold down the CTRL key while&hellip;</p>

<p>So you&#8217;re splitting an event (&#8220;s&#8221; key) and want to delete the previous event (on the left of the split), yes?</p>
<p>Try ALT-[   to invoke &#8220;trim start&#8221; &#8212; it deletes from the start of the event where the scrubber is on the timeline up to the scrubber position 🙂</p>

<p>I didn&#8217;t go so far to test this to see if it works, but if you hold the SHFT key down and go to the Options menu, you&#8217;ll see the &#8220;Internal&#8221; menu show up at the bottom.  Search for &#8220;Media&#8221; and you&#8217;ll see &#8220;Enable Media Manager&#8221; show up there!   It&#8217;s set to FALSE&#8230; change it to TRUE, restart Vegas and see what happens?</p>

<p>2. Despite it being possibly &#8220;unpopular&#8221;, years ago I decided to only render for DVD using a CBR and not VBR; VBR I found caused unpleasant results during fast moving scenes, crossfades and transitions, so much so that CBR just seemed better for my needs.</p>

<p>Are you using the masking on the Pan/Crop tool, or a different way of applying a mask? </p>
<p>You should be able to create multiple splines/masks to select different parts of your image using the Pan/Crop&#8217;s masking without any problem.  You also probably could apply a cookie cutter effect but that&#8217;s way less flexible.</p>

<p>Another options if you only want to move the envelopes (along the timeline, or as a group up or down), is to choose the &#8220;Envelope Edit Tool&#8221; (it&#8217;s on the toolbar at the bottom, or the menu bar &#8216;Edit-&gt;Editing Tool-&gt;Envelope&#8217;).&hellip;</p>

<p>2 things.</p>
<p>1. you want to group the two events (audio and video), not the tracks.  Are you selecting both those events and then grouping them? (The &#8220;G&#8221; hotkey will also group them unless you&#8217;ve remapped that key)</p>

<p>2. Make sure the little icon on the bottom that says &#8220;ignore event grouping&#8221; is not enabled</p>

<p>Find PE4Vegas14.dll and PE4VegasLoader14.dll.  You&#8217;ll probably find them in C:ProgramDataVegas Pro12.0Application Extensions (since you&#8217;re upgrading from Vegas 12)</p>
<p>Copy those DLL files into the similar-named folder under C:ProgramDataVegas Pro18.0Application Extensions&hellip;</p>

It may be called advanced backup.. under the tools menu I believe. <li>On your audio track (which you&#8217;ve hard panned left), make it a bit larger so you can see the new &#8220;Bus A&#8221; that you added.  Bring up its audio level and make sure it&#8217;s set to &#8220;PRE&#8221;.  That will send that track&#8217;s audio to the new Audio&hellip;</li>

<p>On the 1st external (replacement) audio track which you want to be your new &#8220;L&#8221; audio, just change the track&#8217;s &#8220;Pan&#8221; to be hard left.  On the 2nd external (replacement) audio track, change the track&#8217;s &#8220;Pan&#8221; to be hard-right.   </p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t see the PAN setting on the tracks, you may need to make the track a bit larger (as you&hellip;</p>

<p>Wondering &#8212; does Garage Band have an &#8220;export&#8221; type feature, or VP have an &#8220;import&#8221; capability, to load a GargeBand project into VP?   <br />The flow I&#8217;m envisioning is:<br />1.
