Hi Jan,

The outputs will be different. If you use Final Cut Pro and the digital cinema preview option, you’re still looking at the RGB image drawn by Final Cut Pro and not the actual video signal via HDMI (which is YUV).

what version of drivers do you have? We do have down conversion on Windows with our latest driver but not for 720p30. We support 720p59.94 to NTSC, 1080i59.94 to NTSC and 1080i50 to PAL.

Yes, v6.4 supports CS3.

Is it possible that having both CS2 and CS3 on the same system is causing issues? Are you able to output via CS2? Try removing CS2 and CS3 totally, then install CS3 again, then the DeckLink drivers.

Hi

Not really. Multibridge Pro has HDMI output so you won’t be able to use a DVI monitor. If you’re using a DVI computer display, use HD Extreme + HDLink. If you’re going for a HDMI display to monitor, then Multibridge Pro.

If you’re monitoring out via the card’s video and audio output, then you should not have syncs. This might happen if you monitor video via the card but audio via the PC’s sound card.

Are you using one of the presets we’ve provided to configure your project?

Hi,

It’s possibly a reference issue. Check your VTR’s reference settings. If you’re not locked to house sync, switch the deck to reference the input video.

This sets up the application to capture via the Blackmagic card and control your deck/camera via firewire.

If you are trying to capture via firewire in Final Cut Pro, you’ll need to use the “NTSC – DV” setup instead of the “Blackmagic NTSC – DV” setup. The former captures via firewire while the latter captures via the Blackmagic card and transcodes in real time to the DV codec.

Yes, Intensity Pro’s component inputs support 1080i HD.

If you’re not using a supported Mac for ProRes capture, you can also capture to JPEG, DVCPRO HD or Uncompressed.
