<p>I have done a few DCPs for film events and found them to be less problematic then obtaining a BD player and hooking it up to to projector at a local theatre.</p>

<p>I&#8217;ve done a few where I cajoled a director from Premiere to FCPX.</p>
<p>It was so worth it due the nature of his work-flow.</p>

<p>It crippled our ability to login to our network server.</p>
<p>This might not pertain to a lot of you of course since its not FCP related.</p>
<p>Only affected Macs that needs to be logged in order to continue to use their devices.</p>
<p>The symptoms were endless loops during logins.</p>

<p>I have never had an app delete my files on me, heck not even FCPX 🙂</p>
<p>Chances are its a drive issue.</p>
<p>So sorry you had to go through this.</p>
<p>Def a teachable experience.</p>
<p>Always backup.</p>
<p>I have so many different experiences from Avid to Resolve as far as backing up files.</p>

<p>Have more than one copy in different locations.</p>
<p>For me its daunting.</p>
<p>I have some projects with 20TB of RAW media (RED mostly).</p>
<p>That stuff will forever reside in two to three different locations.</p>
<p>The supporting files (mograph etc&#8230;) the same but size depending maybe a cloud option.</p>
<p>One of my jobs has a massive OneDrive account&hellip;</p>

<p>It works well&#8230;as a free tool.</p>
<p>However, I was hoping it had an AI function where it would learn the words and correct them all.</p>
<p>Example is &#8220;lotteries&#8221;. Speaker tends to slur at times and 89 out of 100 the word comes up perfect.</p>
<p>Then it fail as it comes up as &#8220;lottries&#8221;.</p>
<p>Would be great if consistency was used in the AI&hellip;</p>

<p>While there isn&#8217;t a direct way to import Final Cut Pro X (FCPX) keywords and favorites into DaVinci Resolve, you can export metadata as a CSV file from FCPX and then import it into Resolve&#8217;s Media Pool. This method allows you to leverage keywords and other metadata for organization within Resolve. </p>

<p>It will play off anything unless its an older USB 2.0 drive and the file is peaked at 4GB.</p>
<p>I always suggest to offload files to their desktop if they are using it for PowerPoint/Live playback.</p>
<p>I also avoid sharing files using OneDrive. Seems to be awful at playback&hellip;</p>

<p>Not sure what your specs are and what your sequence settings set at.</p>
<p>usually old school issues was the drop frame part.</p>

<p>Thankfully most serious clients dictate the cloud service e.g. Aspera, Media Shuttle heck even Dropbox.</p>
<p>Personally I use frame io mostly due to the nature of my current workflow.</p>
<p>Really short programs no more dailies.</p>
<p>I was using frame io at its infancy before covid on film sets doing dailies and teasers.</p>
