FCPX to Premiere Pro

June 13, 2025 at 3:56 pmIf you are trying to translate a whole library, XtoCC on the App Store is your best bet. Not a perfect translation but it will get you pretty close.

June 13, 2025 at 7:33 pmExactly, XtoCC is a good tool to convert from FCPX to Premiere.
Another way is exporting an XML and using Davinci Resolve to import and exporting AAF from Resolve, but this is not as easy as XtoCC :), but it works.

While there isn’t a direct way to import Final Cut Pro X (FCPX) keywords and favorites into DaVinci Resolve, you can export metadata as a CSV file from FCPX and then import it into Resolve’s Media Pool. This method allows you to leverage keywords and other metadata for organization within Resolve.
