I’m still on Sequoia 15.6.1 running FCP 12.0. Any issues I should know about upgrading to macOS Tahoe 26.3? I’m using a Mac Studio M1 with 64GB.

    Pros – cons?

    Thanks in advance.

I am on the latest versions of FCP and Mac Os on different machines, including M1, M2, M3 Mac Studio, and MacBook Pros M2-M4, no problem at all.

There have been some very minor bugs pointed out on the Apple FCP user forum. But mostly just resetting pref files fixes them. It’s a very safe upgrade for my studio.

For us we had a major issue with 26.3 as a Mac user.

It crippled our ability to login to our network server.

This might not pertain to a lot of you of course since its not FCP related.

Only affected Macs that needs to be logged in order to continue to use their devices.

The symptoms were endless loops during logins.

Again only affecting devices that required to be on a network server.

We had over a dozen graphic designers bricked for a few days due to this.
