    with other words,

    an automatic way to generate 60 different numbers without having typing it for each one for example?

    a mograph workflow with a shader effector would give you different colors, but the nunbers are not that easy..

    for this i have no idea at the moment.

    hey,

    did i get it right? you want to have a neon line arround the edge of the letter?

    than i would do it like that:
    use sweep nurbs to make your bordercorner into a texturable object,
    it would be much easier if you have the non extruded version of the logo as splines.in fact you this spline and the profile spline (a circle) to do this.

    mmhh, i would do it like this…

    1.
    first use the extrude nurbs tool witch makes ur Ai splines 3d, be sure u use illustrator 8 files when u export out of AI.

    2.
    I am not shure how experienced you are but then you could keyframe
    the letters the make them spin.

    3.
    to make them change from lettrs to numbers or whatever, i would put them
    in the same place and keyframe the visibility using the display tag.

    btw: if the text is not that special you could use the build in text tool in the same workflow. just keyframe the text parameter. in this case you dont have to do the last step.

    did you simply checked the shadows multi pass? i am not sure
    if there are shadows in it without real lights.

    i will try this, but its a shame that i could not use my old workaround, this one sounds like my machine is going down this time, i will have like 5-10 of those snakes. but thanks alot, very detailed guide!

    hey, the exlosion fx object brakes the cubes in little pieces, maybe there is a way to reduce the pieces to just one. jes and dynamics is lookin good, but in my case there to much cubes, it takes jears to adjust everything like i want it.

    jes, a stripped version is attached.
    This one gots shadow, but not the kind of shadow what i was lookin for,
    this one is just a solid shape, i would like to have a sketched shadow, consisting of lines. but in the line options are not offering shadow i think.

    okay, i just deleted two composition Tags, so i got the shadow on the ground, but its not a sketch styled shadow which i was for…
