I’ve always considered the Pro Type Titler is a cumbersome waste of time. It’s hard to navigate and awkward.
I stay with the old (Legacy) Text and the “Titles and Text” media generators.

  • Try rendering it with a different file format. I have trouble rendering some effects (usually 3rd party plugins) using an MXF format but it comes out fine using another format of equal quality.

I use it. It’s pretty nice but limited. I like the feature that lets me take a photo and lets it fly apart. Nice for openers.
The feature that does the handwriting is limited and not that great a font for it.
It has a good selection of “lower thirds”
Here’s an example of a video I did using it.

Quite a long time ago, Sony did a webinar on the use of Architect. Does anyone know where that might be found. It explained so much!

    Q1…Was the camera set for 1080p 60fps?
    Yes.

Q2…What software made the intermediate avi files?
Vegas 12 does not play the files that come from the GoPro Black. Apparently Vegas 11 did but 12 won’t even play them on draft mode. Totally chokes.
You have to download and use the GoPro Studio software which is really nice and easy to use and you can render them out and shorten to individual events with their software and it’s free.

Q2…What were your project settings in Vegas Pro?
    HDV 1080-60i (1440×1080) 29.970fps

Q4…How much did you slow down the footage?
I didn’t slow down the footage at all.
The secret of the footage is the Zenmuse gimble. It’s amazing.

Thanks so much and keep up the good work!

Open up your image in “Pan/crop” and then right click and select “Match output aspect” and then give it a try.

One thing to remember if you create a slate slap…
Making the slap too loud can create a portion of your audio louder than anything else which might make the rest of the audio waveform quite low depending on how you have your audio set up with to begin with.

The best app to use for syncing multiple audio/video tracks is “Pluraleyes”
It listens to the audio on each of your clips and matches them up. It works great.

This sounds interesting but I’m not quite following it.
Holding down the ctrl key duplicates the event.
Can you explain what you mention a bit more?
    Thanks
