Titler Pro 2 real time in preview problem

When using Pro Titler 2 there are no longer real time changes in the Sony Vegas Pro 12 preview window. I need to click the window to see the change. Needless to say this is not what I paid for. This has just started happening. It also has a tendency to lock up on me also. Annoying to the point of screaming…. Any help would be appreciated.

I’ve always considered the Pro Type Titler is a cumbersome waste of time. It’s hard to navigate and awkward.
I stay with the old (Legacy) Text and the “Titles and Text” media generators.
