I have snagit and gave it a try and that works but I’ll have to green screen or mask out the background. Thanks for suggesting it.

    Making a lot of progress…
I can now get the transparency by following all your suggestions.
However the IP rendered file is quite different in color when dropped into Vegas17.
The IP is on the left and the right is in Vegas.
So… Getting much closer. Sure doesn’t seem like this should be so difficult does it?

    Hi Graham,
Well, I’ve got the transparency working… sort of, by using the settings you showed in a former screen shot. However, it looks terrible. One thing that puzzles me is that Vegas is set to “Best” and the resolution is 1920×1080 so what could be causing this poor result?

    Making some progress…
Just turned 72 and I need a nap. Catch up later.
    Thanks Graham

    I see”
    None
    Straight Unmatted
    Premultiplied
    Premultiplied Dirty

But… I’ve tried all of this and the PI event still remains with a black background.

Correct. It’s been listed at NONE no matter what setting I have render in with PI.
I’ve also changed that field from None to Alpha and nothing happens.

    Hi Graham,
This is the media information when the PI is put in Vegas. Hope this is what you’re asking for.

    Hi Graham,
I appreciate the posts. I really do. However even when I use the settings you showed exactly I don’t get the transparency. I think what the person from Boris told me in an email that in order to have it show up that way it has to be purchased.
