Maybe you should cut down on the saturation and not so much on the gamma. I also view my finished video on the free to download Sony XDCam viewer which is quite nice for checking the finished projects.

That’s good to know. When I use 4 cameras and after I sync them, I have always just muted the track and kept it never really using it again. I’ll remove those tracks.

I was aware of the order having an effect and am careful with that aspect of it. Didn’t know until now that an unused effect would slow rendering though which is nice to know for future renders.

The video from the GoPro does not work well at all with Vegas12. It chokes terribly. I think in Vegas 11 is works OK. So I use the GoPro studio to edit my footage from the GoPro before importing it into Vegas.
You would have thought Vegas would have fixed this.

I use the selection tool only when I want to move a large selection of video but mostly I use the “normal edit tool” with the ctrl key to grab a group of events and after they are selected I use the shift key to select other events to add to that group.

Can you explain what a Luma Key is? I’m not familiar with it and the “about” file on it doesn’t really explain it very well but I’m interested in learning about it.

Thanks. I’ll update Vegas. I just found out that I was able to render the project with Blu-Ray settings but it will always crash when I try and render in MXF format.
