Is anyone using or familiar with Prodad’s Heroglyph V4? I already own New Blue Titler Pro 1&2, so if Heroglyph V4 is just another titler with nothing else to offer other than what I already have, I would like to know. I am aware that Heroglyph V4 offers some additional functions, but is it really worth it? Your thoughts and experiences?

I use it. It’s pretty nice but limited. I like the feature that lets me take a photo and lets it fly apart. Nice for openers.
The feature that does the handwriting is limited and not that great a font for it.
It has a good selection of “lower thirds”
Here’s an example of a video I did using it.

Yes its worth it… And it is far more than only a Titler,
its loaded with tons of other features, but may take some time
    to get familiar with.

Hi, Steve. Thanks for jumping in!

    1) Stating that it is worth it, are you referring to the FULL Heroglyth V4, or the LE version that is on sale for $99?

    2) Do you personally have this in your arsenal? Do you use it? Would you say it pays for itself quickly? Would purchasing this in any way be a duplication of what New Blue Titler Pro 2 does for me?

    3) Kudos to Roger’s talent! Differing opinions here between Roger and you, but that’s okay. I just want to look before I leap!

Your answers, Steve, will help me to make a rational decision. This $50 off sale is going on until the end of March, so I have some time to mull it over. Right now I have issues with Mercalli V2 when used in SVP 12, so I will wait until Prodad Tech Support figures it out before I spend another dime with them! If anyone may be interested in that anomaly, jump in here and I will start a separate thread.

    Thanks in advance.

    tools that does things differently.
