Detail level is going to direct you a lot here.
A basic tennis ball is just a sphere with a texture with bump. (google tennis ball texture)
Super detailed could be hair and well placed displacement.

Hmmm Make a whole lot of textures and apply them to random selections on the sphere.

I would add this to the multi object preset. Be sure to make the object editable in the preset as well make the deflector plane editable too and the the Pdeflector node to object. Prolling node does nothing unless you are colliding the particles… you could simply replace the the Prolling node with a Pspin node to and remove the deflector and gravity…. if you want to go with the Prolling preset you will have to set a group for each object. then a Pshape for each group.
Like everything else in xpresso there are several methods that will all get similar results.

I find that on broadcast preview monitors the HUD renders are hard to read so I use an extruded text object and in xpresso I take a time node (choose frame) and plug that into the Text objects “text” option then you can control the size.

You can have several groups of TP each with a texture…and you can animate these over the age of the particle that way you could have several different ones but this will not be a preset kinda thing…. and I am not sure you will get the full randomness that you want.

Maybe if you were more specific about what you need…even then I dont really know.
