Is it possible in C4D to display the framecount/timecode in the renders, maybe in one of the corners of the frame?
Duno where to search for this, in the form of plug-ins? Or can this be done within c4d core?
If it is, i certainly hope it does not involve any coffee-scripting.

    suggestions welcome

in the viewport you are rendering choose:

Edit/Configure../ under the HUD tab tick “Frame Time” and/or “Frame”

then select “Render HUD” in your render settings

I find that on broadcast preview monitors the HUD renders are hard to read so I use an extruded text object and in xpresso I take a time node (choose frame) and plug that into the Text objects “text” option then you can control the size.

Thank you so much Randy & Sascha!
This definitely will help reduce superflues computing in the final renders 🙂
