City Generator?
Posted by Tony Scaramanga on February 8, 2009 at 4:53 pmHi there. I saw something for Max called Greeble, which is an automatic City Generator.

Is there a similar plugin for C4D, or some other kind of generator I can use for the purpose?

February 8, 2009 at 7:55 pmYou can use this one.
https://tirad.com/plugins/c4d/citygen.htmYou can get almost the exact same thing with more control using Mograph though.

May 26, 2009 at 10:10 pmI know this is kind of an old post, but stumbled across it in searching for tips on this very subject!
Since that citygen plugin no longer exists (at least not for R11), how would one go about using mograph to acheive a similar result?
Thanks much!

May 27, 2009 at 10:22 amGet a cube, make it editable, move the axis to the bottom of it. Get a cloner object and make the cube a child. Set the cloner object to grid array and set how many building you want. Now with the cloner object highlighted get a random effector from the mograph menu, in the parameter tab of the random effector uncheck position and check ON scale.
Now you can randomize the height with the Y scale in the random effecter and control the amount of city with the cloner object.
