Depends the video format, check the website which formats (SD, HD, frame rates) are supported.
HDCP copy protected content won’t work with Intensity.

Yes, there are issues, depending you configuration and codec.
Try this: Capture with FCP’s uncompressed 10-Bit codec.
Setup After Effects to 16 Bit color space.
Render out to FCP’ uncompressed 10-Bit codec but make
sure you’re rendering trillions of colors too … -
Hi guys,
how did you made it to capture 720p25? In my tests I could set up
the 720p25 frame rate but in fact the clip was always 720p50
(25p over 50p).I’ve also updated the documentation for 5.1.2 …

You only can capture 720p25 HDV over FireWire with 5.1.2.
You cannot capture 720p25 or 720p50 DVCPRO HD over FireWire.
You can capture 720p50 over third party hardware and setup a

There seems to be a problem with FCP’s and Compressor’s downscaling

I suggest to export a QuickTime movie, import this one in MPEG Streamclip
and downconvert there using the QuickTime export. You can find a
screenshot for the correct settings via the link above (you should check
the cropping settings as these were determined for 1080i). -
Take a 1080i60 DVCPRO HD sequence preset and go to Sequence -> Settings.
Change the Editing Ttimebase to 23,98.
The Feld Dominance will switch to None.If you use a BMD or AJA video card you can monitor 24p to a NTSC monitor.
Go to Final Cut Pro -> System Settings -> Playback Control
Set the Pulldown Pattern to 2:3:2:3
Set up your video card inside the AJA or BMD control panels. -
The FireWire Access Mode (FAM) for Sony XDCAM is just for accessing
the files. It’s not a video connection. You have to buy a video output
device from AJA or BMD for monitoring … -
You have to make a note on your master tape that it is 16:9.
The TV station will notice that it’s anamorphic 16:9 and they
will broadcast it with a special coding. The TV will recognize
it and add letterbox to a 4:3 device or deskew for 16:9 …
