September 30, 2006 at 12:54 amIt is an EASY SETUP…which means that if you choose that, it will change everything, CAPTURE presets AND Sequence presets. Choose that and you should be good to go.
Always use the Easy Setups.

September 30, 2006 at 1:01 pmYou only can capture 720p25 HDV over FireWire with 5.1.2.
You cannot capture 720p25 or 720p50 DVCPRO HD over FireWire.
You can capture 720p50 over third party hardware and setup a
sequence using our XML workaround:https://www.aulich-adamski.de/en/perm/720p50-capturing-editing-in-final-cut-pro

Mactrix – you need to “show all” in the easy setups to get the 720p2, and it does work (in-spite of the settings that say generic template in the splash screen.
I tested it yesterday from 1200, 1400 ( FW ) and 1700 decks(custom settings using hdsdi) with 720p25/60 (UScamera) 720p25/50 (EU camera) camera masters.
