I know of the Decklink issues going to D5 in assemble mode, according to blackmagic-design.com, but i’m wondering if anyone is using it to do a 23.98 1080 output, and what your settings are.

I’ve been “experimenting” while of course, extremely behind schedule to get a project out to master.

Any help would be extrememly helpful.

    Thanks,
    Marc

A friend of me is working with this format … however the D5 issue was fixed with FCP 5.1.2 …

I’m running FCP 5.1.2 and I have to do the following in order for my “ASSEMBLE TO TAPE” to come in at the right timecode without repeating the opening frame:

insert 1 frame of slug at the head of the timeline and mark my in-point on edit to tape 2 frames before picture start (i.e., if coming in at hour 01:00:00:00, come in at 00:59:59:22).

Does anybody have any idea how to do this without jerry-rigging my system?

    Thanks,

    brock.
