    Hi Jeremiah,

Please also make sure you run the “Uninstall Blackmagic” application in the driver download before re-installing again.

    Hi Andrew,

What VTR are you capturing from?

Have you tried toggling the various RS422 protocol options in the Device Control Presets? For example, if you’re using a Panasonic VTR, switch to ‘Panasonic RS422’ in the Protocol option.

    Hi guys,

We’ve replicated this problem and further testing points the problem to a possible bug in FCP. We have logged the bug appropriately with Apple and are waiting for their response.

September 22, 2005 at 11:26 pm in reply to: Decklink SP as I/O for Logic Express 7.1

    Hi Marc,

You’ll need to send video out via the DeckLink card in Logic Pro in order for the audio to go out as well. Make sure you select the DeckLink card as the video output device in Logic, then open a compatible Quicktime movie.

The good thing is that once you’ve got that working, you can close the movie window in Logic and audio playout will still continue.

Just like Final Cut, Logic has it’s own audio (and video) settings that overrides what’s in the system sound preferences.

    Hi,

We do not have our own JPEG codecs but use the ones provided by Apple. You can find it as Photo-JPEG in your Quicktime export compression settings. We use 75% quality (High).

    Hi,

Please check that you’re not capturing more audio channels than required. You can do this in the Log and Capture window under the Clip Settings tab.

    Hi Sean,

We can’t seem to reproduce it here. May I know what format is your timeline and does this happen the momement the project is opened or only after working in Final Cut Pro for a couple of hours?

    Hi Roddy,

I’m having trouble reproducing this problem. Perhaps you can send us an email at support[at]blackmagic-design.com or if you have any test files, drop us a download link so that we have a common working reference.
