    Hi,

The Multibridge Extreme does both HDMI and DVI depending on what you have connected. The connection on the unit itself is DVI, but if you hook up a HDMI adapter and connected it to a HDMI capable display, Multibridge Extreme will know and work accordingly.

    Hi,

Every deck will have a different offset when doing an insert or assemble to tape. You’ll need to configure Final Cut Pro’s offset values. Please refer to this Apple Knowledge Base Article for more information:

    https://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302458

Even though it refers to Panasonic decks, the section on “Duplicate frames at the In point” may be useful.

    Hi,

Can you place the Final Cut Pro Broadcast Safe Filter onto your timeline and see if it still happens. The filter is real time and should not require rendering.

  • Hi Erik,

If they capture to the Apple Uncompressed codec, it should work.

    Hi,

Are they capture through the DeckLink card? If so, which card is it? How do you connect your cassette deck to the card?

Maybe you can put a sample online so that some of us can have a listen.

  • Hi,

The DeckLink card will work in any of the slots in the PCIe Macs.

    Hi Dan,

What make and model is this deck?

Have you tried using Blackmagic Deck Control and see if you can capture? Remember to set the preferences to match your input format.

The DeckLink HD has 2 outputs and 1 input. Make sure you’re using the correct BNC connector. It should be the one furthest away from the breakout cable port.
