my goal: to “capture” some audio cuts from audio cassette, and put them on a CD. the songs play fine from the cassette deck, but upon playback in FCP, they have a kind of static-like warble. i’ve tried it with the capture settings at 8-bit and also DV (though i know these only refer to video, which i am not capturing at all). any ideas?

someone wrote in that i should make a new sequence with capture settings at 44.1 kHz, 16-bit, 2-channel…but the only one i have available with Decklink Audio input is 48k. any ideas?

thanks for helping out a bonehead,

    Hi,

Are they capture through the DeckLink card? If so, which card is it? How do you connect your cassette deck to the card?

Maybe you can put a sample online so that some of us can have a listen.

    regards
