Perhaps this can give you some ideas on eye contact effects you can use in After Effects: https://youtu.be/1zSmUlCp2is?si=DjNnYEd6ySLS5zNC

This is for eye replacement but it may help get you closer to what you are looking for when it comes to editing eye contacts in Adobe After Effects. Hope it helps! 🙂

Have you checked out this video on how to edit the Multi Cam feature in Adobe Premiere Pro? Perhaps this video can give you an idea on how to get around this. Does importing these clips give you the red screen for Media Offline like you showed on the screenshot?

October 23, 2023 at 11:29 pm in reply to: Vegas Pro 17 crashes

I have noticed that later Versions of Sony Vegas, especially the 20 version that I have demands a lot more RAM as a minimum requirement than earlier versions. For example, Sony Vegas 13 only demands the minimum of 4GB of RAM while the 20 demands 16GB of RAM minimum. Yours seems to demand 8GB of RAM which should be more than enough to be able to run it x 2 but if you are running a web browser and other power demanding applications on the background, it will increase the chances for it to freeze. Thats why I am upgrading mines from 16GB to 32GB very soon since especially this and Adobe Photoshop’s latest version somehow is demanding more high specs to run and do the same thing as you did in earlier versions, forcing you to upgrade your computer sadly to be able to run it with no issues. I noticed that. Even with a Core i7, you may want to see if upgrading the RAM helps, if it continues, perhaps uninstalling and reinstalling Sony Vegas can help remove any files that can make it freeze and corrupt, good to try every fix you can possible until you find the solution 🙂

If you are looking for a 2nd or 3rd window to appear at the same time the first video is playing for example, it is possible by creating multiple timelines for videos that can be put on top of each other so you can add also AE effects in video format so they can be resized to appear in a certain part of the screen to be seen. I used to literally had a window effect on my videos where the background of another effect is being display behind the window like you can see whats going on outside of the room you are in. Thats an example and not sure if its exactly what you are looking for but hope it helped in some ways.

October 10, 2023 at 1:57 am in reply to: Problem with audio not rendering

Make sure you have installed all the codecs needed in order for the audio to render too, if that does not work, try uninstalling and reinstalling Vegas Pro/Movie Studio to see if it properly installed all the .dll files needed to render correctly, it could be missing .dll files too, happened to me as well. Hope you are able to solve this issue soon! 🙂

  • Are you saying that it renders the raw video in addition to what you were editing in Premiere Pro 2022? If you can show me some screenshots of the issue, I should be able to better help you. I believe sometimes it can be caused by accidental cloning the entire video timeline with all the clips in it so it mixes and renders both, I could be wrong. Hope to hear from you soon.

  • The problem could be depending on what file format you decided to format your SD Card to (NTFS or FAT32 for example). Some cameras are only compatible with certain file formats. Remember that if you had any video files before you formatted the SD Card, it will wipe clean your SD Card and delete all the files from there. Its strange that the SD Card couldn’t be read on your second Sony FS700 camera, I would imagine you formatted it to a file format compatible with your camera, right?

Have you also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Premiere Pro to see if you are able to make this work like before? Also if you were to record a video to showcase the issue you are having, I should be able to help assist you better on this issue too. 🙂 Its always good to post questions showing clips of the issue to analyze it better. Just a tip and hope it helps 🙂

If you wish to animate text that fills the whole screen, I do not think you need seperate sequences for that. You should be able to do it in one sequence to have letters/text being animated from left to right, up to down, etc by just keyframing the location axis of the text you wish to set it to start from and then where you want the text to go on the other side.

I found this video that can be useful to what you are looking for: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctyMZ1W-Ebc Hope this jogs up your memory a bit on how you used to do it. 🙂
