By any chance, did you checked the Basic Audio Settings to see if you are allowed to change from 16 Bits to 24 bits? I hardly ever worked with it but hope it helps. In the sample size section of Basic Audio Settings within Premiere Pro, it should help you change from 16 to 24 bits, I believe the maximum is 32 bits.

Does it still happen whenever you close the program and reopen it? That is pretty weird… and have you also tried to restart the computer as well? Usually if I have an application glitching out or lagging like that, a restart will help.

If that does not help, try opening a New Project. Then select File > Import > Select Your Premiere Pro Project that was giving you that glitch issue.

Let me know if any improvements have been made for this. Best of luck!

Which Adobe Program are you having issues with that exactly? Maybe I can help you research how we can get rid of it. This is the first time I have seen this as well.

March 20, 2023 at 8:48 pm in reply to: projects CC 2015 will not open in CS5.5

It seems to me that the project files made in the older versions of Adobe Premiere Pro may be incompatible with the new Premiere Pro since it could be missing some of the features that are available in CC 2015 but not in CS5.5 since that came out 4 years prior to it. Every year they seem to add some new features. If I am not mistaken, could be also because around CC 2015 started the subscription based service of Premiere Pro instead of a yearly or biyearly upgrade that was a one-off install and keep forever kind of thing. Sucks they removed that and its solely subscriptions now. I could be wrong of course but makes sense when it comes to compatibility. Hope it helps.

Heya! Maybe I can send you one of my RAW video clips that I have. Maybe one of my travel trips so you can practice on? Feel free to let me know and I will see how I can send it to you. Which app are you using right now for video editing btw?

May I ask what format is the video you are rendering in? Because depending on the file format, some may be more data consuming than others. Like for example, if a video of 15 minutes in 1080p consumes almost 1GB of data in AVI or WMV, perhaps converting it to another format like MP4 for example that consumes less may help accelerate the rendering process. I use MP4 to render my last two videos in Adobe Premiere Pro. Let me know to see if I can help figure this out with you.

  • Is it possible I can see some screenshots on exactly what your issue is causing your Sony Vegas. I believe I can do what I can to assist you on this issue. Seeing this message was posted almost a month ago, I would like to confirm from you if you are still experiencing the same issue or were you able to resolve this? Hope to hear back from you soon 🙂

I have experienced that sometimes in Sony Vegas Pro 13 myself. Sometimes its not even because of overheating but the .dll file on your system32 computer that can be triggering the problem. If you get a pop-up on Sony vegas saying that it crash and to check the error message within, pay attention to the file that’s causing it and where it is located in the directory. When I located it on mines, I simply authorized myself admin permission to delete that file and then tried rendering again. It no longer crashes for me. Sometimes even one specific file you use in the video project could be causing the crash too. If you want, if its still happens to you, you can send me a screenshot of the error message so I can give you a better outlook on your situation. Best of luck! Hope it helps!
