Hi, I just bought the Sony FS700 because it shoots AVCHD and that helps my client with FCP X.

In the menu it has an option to save camera settings, but no way to name (or rename) the file. So I format an SD card, save the settings and place the SD card in a second FS700 camera. When I try to load it says ERROR cannot load or something like that. Why is that?

Also, what kind of info is being saved?

Last, Abelcine made some scene files for the FS700. I’ve downloaded and unzipped the files, but only one .DAT file is on the card.

    Thanks for your help,

The problem could be depending on what file format you decided to format your SD Card to (NTFS or FAT32 for example). Some cameras are only compatible with certain file formats. Remember that if you had any video files before you formatted the SD Card, it will wipe clean your SD Card and delete all the files from there. Its strange that the SD Card couldn’t be read on your second Sony FS700 camera, I would imagine you formatted it to a file format compatible with your camera, right?
