I did this years ago, but have forgotten how. I want to have a full screen of scrolling text, with only the bottom line visible as the lines descend. I did a search and saw that it required it to be done in separate sequences, but I can’t figure out exactly what goes where. Any help would be appreciated!

If you wish to animate text that fills the whole screen, I do not think you need seperate sequences for that. You should be able to do it in one sequence to have letters/text being animated from left to right, up to down, etc by just keyframing the location axis of the text you wish to set it to start from and then where you want the text to go on the other side.

I found this video that can be useful to what you are looking for: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ctyMZ1W-Ebc Hope this jogs up your memory a bit on how you used to do it. 🙂

Do you want the scrolling text like you have the credits at the end of a movie? Premiere Pro has a built in tools for this now via the Essential Graphics panel (or it might be essential text) that makes it a lot simpler then animating track mattes.

Yeah, forget about the Track Matte and use the Essential Graphics Panel.

    If I understand correctly:

You can make scrolling text then add in a separate graphic two rectangular boxes to make a pillar box
