What do you mean exactly by small fonts via audio effects? If its different from changing the size of text normally in Vegas Pro, then this is the first time hearing text in audio. I know you can edit them in conjunctions and syncing together but yeah, any screenshots of the issues to help you further?

So the layer masks has changed a lot since CS6 I see, I remember using them quite a lot in Photoshop and layer masks still works almost the same way as back then. Not sure if this video would help but its a proper tutorial of doing multiple masks in the layers: https://youtu.be/V8MhAFF9E4o?si=xANlh6KxadGNtrge

This tutorial should give you an idea at least on what you are looking for! Good luck!

So you basically switch between PCs the same projects which one of them runs at 1-2 fps and the other runs normally right? And if the specs are not the issue, did you tried uninstalling or reinstalling the application to see if there is an improvement in performance? Hope it can help.

I would suggest not always update the version quickly from Ver 2 to 3 for example because you never know if a bug can affect it. Be sure to look at reviews before upgrading next time and hope they fix the bug for Ver 3 soon. Best of luck! 🙂

Looks like the battery life of it may be dying and may need to replace it soon. Make sure to find the exact model for that Sony device so you buy the right battery you need for it. Hope it helps even if I know its pretty old.

October 30, 2023 at 10:36 pm in reply to: Legacy AE installation on Virtual Machine

Yeah it should be possible to run older versions of Adobe After Effects in the Virtual Machine. I think there is a way you can get applications outside of the Virtual Box, meaning the host computer to install there. I have not used the feature myself but I heard about rumors on that. But as to run it, you computer should be able to run it from there since the older versions of After Effects runs on much lower RAM requirements than the newer versions which requires more RAM to run all their new features and settings there. Hope you can find a way around this soon man! 🙂

October 27, 2023 at 12:56 am in reply to: Sony FS5M2 firware downloads?

Looked in several links pertaining that download and its a shame that Sony dropped support for these cameras in a short amount of times. I would suggest trying to find out in different forums too if anyone has a download update file stored on their computer offline or someone who managed to upload a torrent file containing that file. So far I have not found anything else besides videos on YouTube about this from 2017 so seems outdated. Hope you can find something for this soon!

October 27, 2023 at 12:43 am in reply to: Best resolution for stills to be used in a movie

I know you can do animations within Photoshop and at the 1080×1920 aspect ratio, sounds like you are making a YouTube shorts out of those images, right? I have made YouTube shorts in Sony Vegas pro and it does cut out parts of the video clips if they were originally 1920×1080, but I do not think they lower the quality by much since its still similiar aspect ration and quality but reversed. Let me know if you need more input from me on this! 🙂

Not sure if this is the exact thing you are looking for involving captions in Premiere Pro but there are at least ways around this. Perhaps this video will help: https://youtu.be/A0BldihvoBo?si=TECkCyzbarjiW10R

I know that I can edit text in Adobe Premiere Pro and add more in the timeline since I have several experiences to do them normally.
