Small font for audio effects in Vegas 21
Posted by Luigi Perrotta on November 4, 2023 at 12:02 pmI just downloaded a Trial version of Vegas Pro 21.
I noticed some of the audio effects look much smaller, almost unreadable, I remember having the same problem a few years ago with my Vegas 18, someone on this forum resolved the problem. Does anyone know how to fix this?

November 6, 2023 at 11:02 pmWhat do you mean exactly by small fonts via audio effects? If its different from changing the size of text normally in Vegas Pro, then this is the first time hearing text in audio. I know you can edit them in conjunctions and syncing together but yeah, any screenshots of the issues to help you further?

November 9, 2023 at 3:18 pmI downloaded the trial version of 21, everything looks the same, about the same number of effects as Vegas 18. Maybe I am missing something.
I had a few crashes and some problems rendering but Magix just had an upgrade that fixed the problems.
The display of some audio effects is smaller, the envelope lines are smaller even the + and minus of the zoom right bottom corner is hard to see.
Attached you will find two screen shots the first show Vegas 21 display, the second is how things show in Vegas 18
Thank you

November 11, 2023 at 12:45 amHello,
Below is an update of my problem with the display of the audio effects, envelope line and zoom button. I fixed the problem but another problem came up, I don’t understand why but someone on this forum can. I sent a copy of this to Magix.
Hello,
After spending a lot of time I found out that if I uncheck the box in properties>Display> ( “use high DPI Scaling (where usable)” the screen appears normal and everything is readable including the audio effects, envelopes et. see screen shot #70
However when I apply an audio effect from the audio effects list, the OK button is hidden on top see screen shot #71. I can’t grape it to pull down, but if I grape the sides of the screen of the effect list and make it larger or small the OK button comes down and appears so the effects become usable and can be added to the chain, see screen shot #72.
I hope I explained the problem clearly for you to help.
Thank you

November 15, 2023 at 1:47 amAhhh I see, so thats whats going on. And you couldn’t even expand that Window before and made it bigger? Glad you were able to fix it but yeah, quite often sometimes when you try to fix a problem another one comes up and you will need to have a work around to try to fix that without affecting the other one you fixed recently. It also seems you put a lot of effort in the pointer line arrangements within the sound clips I see. So it raises and lowers the volume of those sound clips often right?

November 15, 2023 at 1:37 pmHector, I was able to crab the window from the bottom now I can resize it anyway I want.
Sound is just as important if not more in my videos. I use envelopes on all my tracks.
I am still trying to figure out what Vegas 21 can do that my Vegas 18 can’t.
