  • Linking imported EDL to sequence, not clip

Hello everyone. I’m curious if anyone has run into this. I have long Multicam interview sequences that I exported to a transcription service (Trint). The software allows you to create crude edits while still tracking the master timecode of the exported sequence. I was able to export an EDL and bring back into Premiere. I’m trying to see if there’s a way to link this newly generated sequence from the EDL back to the original Multicam sequence.

I thought I had found a potential solution, but doesn’t seem to work (see screenshot). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked out this video on how to edit the Multi Cam feature in Adobe Premiere Pro? Perhaps this video can give you an idea on how to get around this. Does importing these clips give you the red screen for Media Offline like you showed on the screenshot?
