Odd question. I don’t often do captioning.

I’d like to capion a sequence to use as an open caption. There are many technical terms/phrases/spellings that will need to be manually corrected. Very time consuming.

I have a clean prompter script. In the past I’ve used software that would use a text script to more accurately build a caption. I don’t see that function in premiere. Does anyone know if that exists? It seems like an extremely basic need and has been around a log time.

    Thanks for any direction.

Not sure if this is the exact thing you are looking for involving captions in Premiere Pro but there are at least ways around this. Perhaps this video will help: https://youtu.be/A0BldihvoBo?si=TECkCyzbarjiW10R

I know that I can edit text in Adobe Premiere Pro and add more in the timeline since I have several experiences to do them normally.
