Hi,

You mentioned that this happens even if you don’t render to any BMD codecs. What happens if you uninstall our drivers and render, does that make a difference?

Hi Matt,

I would like to know if this issue is isolated to Vegas 8 or is the system not seeing the Multibridge. Does the DeckLink Control Panel indicate that the Multibridge is seen? If it is seen, the top of the Control Panel should say “Settings for your Multibridge Pro” and the options should not be grayed out.

We plan to support third party LUTs with HDLink Pro. What actual formats to support, I don’t know for sure yet.

Hi,

Are you capturing your footage shot at 60fps using the 720p25/60 setup? If so, this sounds normal. You will need to capture beyond the required time length of the clip in order to get the full 1 minute capture.

Hi Matt,

We seen some issues with Vegas 8.0a due to an update to Vegas from Sony happening right after we released the driver. If you’re using build 144 which is Vegas 8.0, it should be fine. It’s the 8.0a version that will have issues.

Please try again but use the Multibridge PCIe card in the top slot of your Mac Pro, then launch “Expansion Slot Utility” located in “/System/Library/CoreServices” and select the second profile.

Hi,

Videohub is just an HD/SD-SDI video router so I don’t why it will not be compatible.

It will help centralise decks but won’t help you with centralising your storage.

Hi Tim,

Yes, you would use the component output of the Z1 into the component input of the HD Extreme. The Z1’s component output is RCA while HD Extreme’s input is BNC so you’ll need to use a RCA to BNC adapter so that they play nicely.

The camera should output via the component outputs automatically but you should check the menu options in the camera to make sure it’s outputting at the format you wish to capture.
