    Hi..,
I’m using Black Magic HD Extreme card to capture my varicam footage.

Let me brief about my system.
I have Mac Pro 3.0 GHz Machine
    with 5 GB ram &
Caldigit S2VR HD DRIVE WITH 230MB/S Speed.
& Black Magic HD Extreme card.

I edit my footage @ 25p. I don’t have any problem when i’m capturing footage which has been shot at 25 fps. But whenever I try to capture my footage shot 60fps for slowmotion Im jus getting 40% of the footage that is if i capture a 1 minute clip, I’m just getting only 25 secs only.

I can get something but not very clear. footage at the frame rate 60 & Im capuring it at 25 fps. So per minute i’m just getting 25 secs. I know the card the doing the required pull-down while capturing. How to get rid of this. But the required slow-motion is done without any problem.

    Help me out in this.

    Hi,

Are you capturing your footage shot at 60fps using the 720p25/60 setup? If so, this sounds normal. You will need to capture beyond the required time length of the clip in order to get the full 1 minute capture.

    regards
