Cannot install MB pro on MacPro intel
Hey BMD,
I just received my MB pro (new edition).
I installed the pci card and connected the MB pro.
installed the software (6.6), rebooted.
And the software cannot find my card.
It says ‘could not open serial port’ (could be in use by another application).I have tried all 3 free pci-E ports! Only in port 4 the multibridge light (on the front) blinks very fast.
In port 3 and 2 it doesnt blink at all.Anyone got any idea?

When I connect the MB pro via usb I can see it in the profiler.

Vendor ID: 0x04b4But I cannot see the PCI card in the profiler. Only shows the Nvidia! When I put the 4lane pci card in slot 2, my nvidia doesnt get recognized and I do not have output to my monitor. (Logged in using Remote).
So do i have conflicts? How do I solve them since there arent any jumpers I assume? Or is the 4lane card broke?

Hi,
Please try again but use the Multibridge PCIe card in the top slot of your Mac Pro, then launch “Expansion Slot Utility” located in “/System/Library/CoreServices” and select the second profile.

I returned the blackmagic. They tested it also in the store. And it failed.
Besides, for some reason I dont have that CoreServices Directory! Or the utilty!
