BMD 64bit 6.6 drivers and Vegas 8.0a
Hi There.
I am hoping someone from Sony or BlackMagic maybe able to help me. I have 2 systems here, the first one is running a Decklink HD Pro card on XP32 using 6.6 32bit Decklink Drivers and in Vegas 8.0a, I am seeing the card and can preview. GREAT.
But, My main system is running XP64 using a DeckLink MultiBridge Pro box, and the same 6.6 64 bit driver version, but Sony Vegas 8.0a will just not see the card or box at all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, If you need me to do any testing please also get in touch, I am more than willing to try and get this working.

Hi Matt,
We seen some issues with Vegas 8.0a due to an update to Vegas from Sony happening right after we released the driver. If you’re using build 144 which is Vegas 8.0, it should be fine. It’s the 8.0a version that will have issues.

Hi There.
Many thanks for getting back to me, I have reverted back to version 8.0 (Build 144), and re-installed the drivers, and still nothing I am afraid to report.
It just seems the 64bit drivers and the Multibridge box, just will not talk to Vegas, no matter what order I install things, or try.
Please don’t give up on me, if you have anything else you would like me to try, beta drivers, etc, please get in touch.

Hi Matt,
I would like to know if this issue is isolated to Vegas 8 or is the system not seeing the Multibridge. Does the DeckLink Control Panel indicate that the Multibridge is seen? If it is seen, the top of the Control Panel should say “Settings for your Multibridge Pro” and the options should not be grayed out.

The MultiBridge actually does work in the system, in fact I am running Premiere Pro CS2, and it works perfectly in that programme, it just does not get seen by Vegas 8.0 or 8.0a at all.
