When exporting be sure to choose DVD Studio Pro Markers, not Chapter Markers, if you want them to work properly in DVDSP.

What editing codec did you use? Normally, I’d Export QT Movie with Current Settings and DVD Studio Pro Markers selected. Then I’d drag that file into Compressor to make the mv2s and ac3s.

Are you viewing the video on a monitor during the edit and when you play the DVD. Watching it on the computer is not the best idea.

Perian (a QT plugin) allows you to play flvs in QT. You can also export them as QT files – perhaps ProRes or DVCPro HD given your dimensions. If your Flash is an H,264 you can use QT or Compressor to make your files. Neither flvs nor H.264s are meant to be editing formats. The quality will depend on the data rate of your flvs or H264s. The higher the data rate the better the quality.

Many Panny cameras can be set for either system. Check to see if the camera can be set up for a system frequency of 59.94 (It’s in the Other menu). Then you can shoot 720P60. Our HPX500 can shoot either 59.94 or 50Hz which would be PAL (DVCPro HD 720P50.
