    Hello!

    I edited documentary short film.
The shots were 1080i, and in the viewer Final Cut Pro deinterlaced them so I could see them correctly. Also when I applied SmoothCam the shots were perfect.

Now when I export with Field Dominance -> Upper (Odd) in the Sequence Settings and in the Apple Intermediate Codec I set HDV 1080i, in the video I get fields are visible!
If in the Apple Intermediate Codec I set HDV 1080p I still see the fields in QuickTime.

If in Sequence Settings I set Fields Dominance -> None the result in a QuickTime movie with vertically shaking images…

So, how can I correctly export my footage for Dvd Studio Pro (mantaing the Chapter Marks of course)?

    Thanks a lot!!

What editing codec did you use? Normally, I’d Export QT Movie with Current Settings and DVD Studio Pro Markers selected. Then I’d drag that file into Compressor to make the mv2s and ac3s.

Are you viewing the video on a monitor during the edit and when you play the DVD. Watching it on the computer is not the best idea.

I also use Current Settings… Anyway I think I’ll connect a Television to the Mac. Thank you!
