I’m having a nightmare trying to figure out the right sequence settings for editing a Flash document in Final Cut.

    My Flash document aspect ratio = 1280 x 720
*What would be the best export setting to use?

Also what would be the ideal AV settings & sequence settings be in Final Cut?

I’ve tried various combinations, but my animation sequences are usually a bit skewed and need rendering.

Are there any settings that would allow me to edit together Flash Quicktime sequences without rendering?

Perian (a QT plugin) allows you to play flvs in QT. You can also export them as QT files – perhaps ProRes or DVCPro HD given your dimensions. If your Flash is an H,264 you can use QT or Compressor to make your files. Neither flvs nor H.264s are meant to be editing formats. The quality will depend on the data rate of your flvs or H264s. The higher the data rate the better the quality.
