Your mouse is not only a zoom but a scroll so I would try it in another program like MWord or such and see if that works. Also I would check to see the systems settings on your mouse to be sure it is correct. Try another mouse?? Just maybe.

I suspect the GPS info might be encoded into the picture but it is only a guess. I would select a few pictures and save them to another format other than JPG. I have naively dropped 3 gig pictures on the time line in the past and it has caused problems. How many pics are you using? Did you try just a couple and see if that renders without a hitch?
BTW did you fix your Veg file problem?

What I suspect you are doing is removing a section of the video from the overall timeline with some of the original audio still remaining. If this is the case what you are seeing is the video out of sync with the audio. This is how Vegas lets you know what is out of sync. You can right click the video (that’s pink/red) and select synchronize by moving or slipping. Hope this helps

Presuming that you can view all your videos via the preview window I would have to ask if you have checked to be sure the tracks you want rendered are not muted and that you also have not accidentally soloed any of the other tracks? If you look at all the tracks they should all be the same color. (hence not selected) Make sure the exclamation point (solo) and mute are not selected. That would be the only things that would prevent those being rendered. You did not say what format you are rendering to but none would leave out any specific tracks but some will do only audio or only video.
I’m sure this is simple solution…let me know.

Yep done that before and realized I had the loop selection checked and had not highlighted the loop region. We’ve all done it…hope this helps

Thanks for the update and for being persistent in getting the problem to the right people. A while back I did something similar and getting to the developers is key. I agree with the frustration as none of us has not had to find a workaround for many issues. Let’s hope this gets top priority.

you can’t make it do what you want with key framing it will not create the next wave and as you are looking for. The way to do it is to keep adding the Wave FX as many times as needed and key frame each on in succession to get the results you need. I’ve created wind effects using this and similar techniques. If you spend some time you can achieve some really nice results. There are no shortcuts sorry. I’m sure there must be other software out there that does this already but I am not aware of it. Hope this helps…let me know.

I have not run into this problem before. Have you tried downloading the trial version for 9 and see if that helps? Of course Vegas 8 can’t open 9 files so at least rule that out.
When was this file created in reference to the others that do open? I remembering answering one of your posts a while back where you had something similar happen. I asked you to make sure to have the defaults set for Vegas and to hold down cntrl shift on launch to do that. Whatever it did it fixed your problem. Sorry I can’t recall exactly what it was at this point. Hope this helps.

Roger is correct the only caveat is to be sure that what you have on the timeline is all you want there and wont need any others. Or else when you click on the “removed unused media” it will remove all media not currently on the timeline and if you need it later you would have to locate it again.
You can always just tell Sony where the clips it is looking for and then once found save it again. remember if you move any media to a new location Vegas will not find it, so be careful it will save you a lot of headaches later on.
