    Hey!

I’m doing a wave effect and have three keyframes. The first is zero, then a number and then back to zero. What I want to happen is for the wave to hit its peak at the second keyframe and then slowly go back to zero. However, what happens is that after the second keyframe the wave reverses and goes back to zero. I want the wave to move in the same direction the whole time. How do I avoid the reversing of the wave?

you can’t make it do what you want with key framing it will not create the next wave and as you are looking for. The way to do it is to keep adding the Wave FX as many times as needed and key frame each on in succession to get the results you need. I’ve created wind effects using this and similar techniques. If you spend some time you can achieve some really nice results. There are no shortcuts sorry. I’m sure there must be other software out there that does this already but I am not aware of it. Hope this helps…let me know.
