    Guys

Sometimes when I ungroup audio from its video segment and delete it I get the remaining video showing up in red background.

Every thing seems to work ok but am I doing something incorrectly prior to the delete of audio?

    thanks

Nope. It is just showing you that it is out of sync. But that doesn’t matter b/c you are not attempting to sync.

This is a good feature for me as it is a visual cue that something is amiss (unless I intended it to be so). So, when I do multicam edits and I slide something over and had it ungrouped it alerts me that the audio and video are no longer synchronized.

In your case, just disregard the visual cue.

What I suspect you are doing is removing a section of the video from the overall timeline with some of the original audio still remaining. If this is the case what you are seeing is the video out of sync with the audio. This is how Vegas lets you know what is out of sync. You can right click the video (that’s pink/red) and select synchronize by moving or slipping. Hope this helps
