A 4 fps setting is not available unless you hack the camera. If your shooter did this then he provably knows more than you think. Instead of telling him what he did wrong ask him what effect he was trying to get.

March 23, 2007 at 7:38 pm in reply to: P2 Footage has digital glitching, causes frame dropping, I/O errors. Solutions?I use to have the same problems with cards until I did a camera upgrade (I have one of the first ones). I never had that problem with my Firestore and it was one of the first ones also. I am on version 3,0 of the firestore and I love not having to convert to QT. I also get about 240 minutes from it.

I am sorry I didn’t answer you before. I lost track of this thread.
I am almost sure I used QT 7 H264 or QT Sorenson

DVCPRO HD 1080i or 720?
I have the G5 Quad (not Intel) 4.5GB Ram and tested it with 5 streams of 720-24p with color correction and motion. It showed the green bar but it looked fine.Douglas Villalba

Oh well, I guess that there is nothing that a little prayer can’t answer. I got my answer, but if there is someone having the same problem here is how simple it was. I had my View-Video Play Back to the monitor’s resolution and what I needed was the timeline video resolution. That simple, now I can start playi…. I meant working. 🙂

My new workflow includes a new Western Digital 250GB per job. I am even offering customers the drive with the original material in it. I’ve had problems with DVDs going bad in less than a year so I had to find a different solution.

I got a call from Phil at Focus and got it to work.
My problem was that I had a tape in the camera. Most of what I shoot is at 720p, but I like to keek a tape in just in case I have to use it.Douglas Villalba
