    Hi.
    I’m wondering how many layers of DVCPRo HD one can edit in real time with the following system:

    G5 power PC 2.3 ghz, 2.5 gigs RAM, FCP 5.0.4, Caldigit S2VRHD 1.5 tera.

    I was under the impression that one can edit several layers, real time, with this setup, but I only get one layer. If I add another and scale them, I get the little green line. Is this normal or do I have my system set up wrong??

    Same thing goes for HDV, 8 and 10-bit HD using the blackmagic codec.
