Oh…didn’t know the MCS Spectrum works with Resolve.
Does it work well ?

Try swap the slot position between the REDRocket and GT120 and see if the playback speed improves in Resolve.

Actually you can get some interesting effects by blending onto itself using modes like Screen or Overlay and then varying the opacity between the two layers. I don’t have any examples to share but I’ve used it before on a different grading system which has blend modes and it was quite useful.
But if we can do both – onto itself and with a different clip – that would be really fantastic !

Go to /Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/ folder and run CaptureLogs and then email the log file to :
davincihelp@blackmagic-design.com
You can certainly post issues you’ve encountered here as this is what this forum is for. Issues you encounter could jolly well be bugs, especially if other users are also experiencing it as well.
You can post feature request here as the DaVinci team do monitor this forum so you never know if your request may end up a feature some day 🙂

You could look at the Gefen DVI/USB Extenders.

Try revert the REDRocket driver back to 1.3.3 and firmware to 1.1.8.6 if you have updated it and see if it works again with Resolve 7.0.3.
The driver is probably newer than what Resolve 7.0.3 supports.

Hi Michael,
Are you saying that when you make the grade adjustment, you see a latency on the UI display but not on the SDI display ?
Are you doing the adjustment while playing or on a stopped frame ?
Certainly not seeing any latency here when making grade adjustment. It would be a totally unusable product if it’s the case.
