    I just set up my whole MacPro 2×2,26 Quad Intel Xeon from scratch, OS X 10.6.5. internal Raid 0 with 6TB (182MB/s read/write accoding to Speedcheck)Slot 1 GTX 285, Slot 2 RedRocket, Slot 3 GT120, Slot4 Deckling Extreme 3.
    I installed DaVinci 7.0.3. as well as FCP and CS5 on the Machine, updated to the last RedRocket Driver (for Redcine X 351) , latest Decklink and latest Cuda driver, but i still get a performance of 14fps for ProRes4444 or 422HQ as well as R3D Files with half debayer good.

    Even my MacBookPro ist faster with ProRes4444 (18fps).
    I can see all 4 installed cards in the System Profiler and they seem to work fine.
    Redcine X with Rocket plays fine and FCP with Decklink HD also is fine, just with DaVinci i´m stuck with 14fps if i turn on video out in the preferences, if turned off i get 21fps playback.

    I tried to reinstall 7.0.2. but still just 14fps.

    would be great if somebody could help.

    Try swap the slot position between the REDRocket and GT120 and see if the playback speed improves in Resolve.

    Nope, didn´t help. just tried that.
    A support person from DaVinci just took a look at my Mac remotely and couldn´t find the issue.
    One thing might be, that i have a nvida Geforce 8800 installed instead of the GT120 fur the GUI, but it did work before.
    So, i´ll go and get the GT120 and hope that it solves the issue.

    I would suggest using https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/32555/cuda-nvidia-gpu-benches to bench your cuda capabilities, and see if the CUDA / graphic card / driver combination works okay. After downloading the app, in the terminal, run _nbody with the -benchmark otption

    With the gtx 285, you should have something like
    540.359 GFLOP/s at 20 flops per interaction (that’s what I get here)
