    You can try enable the editing mode in the Conform page and replace that RED shot with the ProRes444 shot. If you have any subsequent variations of the same ProRes444 VFX shots, just import into the mediapool and it will show up as a conflict with a C at the corner of the clip. You can then easily switch to the new shot.

    You may want to create folders in the Browse page so that you know where the different shots are as dumping everything in the mediapool can be difficult when you try to find a particular shot.

    You should send a few of the corrupted .tiff files to the DaVinci team for them to take a look. You may have found a glitch.

    Good to hear from you and happy to see you’re using Resolve now 🙂

    We recently ran a Resolve 101 training class with the 17″ i7 MacBook Pro and they worked fine so you’re good to go 🙂

    Hope to visit you someday in HK.

    Hi Angus,

    Just make sure you get the 17″ MacBook Pro as Resolve requires 1920 x 1200 resolution.
