Perhaps the current Decklink driver has not activated this feature yet ?
Will be interested to find out how this feature will be implemented in Resolve though.

Why don’t you try use the Scene Detection feature instead to split up the clips ?
Or you can always use the Split function in Resolve to manually cut up those missing cut points. Might save you some time than going back to fix the EDL.

You basically flatten the timeline in FCP into one video track and then make the EDL. Resolve won’t do this for you.

Actually I’m not sure how this card would allow us to install the Decklink HDMI backplate coz it will most likely go to slot 1, which is the same slot as the FX4800. Even if it replaces the GT120 and goes into slot 2, it still won’t give us any space to put the HDMI backplate.

Tracking information is not saved when you capture a stills and you can’t save it and apply to another node.
This is one feature which I hope to see in future version of Resolve.

Resolve will not read the audio from the Quicktime file. You will need to extract it into a AIFF or WAV file and then load it in the Conform page.
If you right-click in the Conform page on the timeline you should be able to see a selection for audio.

How would you know the accuracy if you grade without a 3DLUT for the film stock that you’re printing to ?

What’s your original source format ?
Are you using a 3DLUT ?
