    CURRENT SYSTEM.
    MacPro5,1, 8×2,4 Ghz, 6GB Ram, Quadro FX4800, Decklink HD Extreme 3D , MAXX EVO 2k.

    VIDEO CARD.
I have other NVIDIA video card(not 120), and some people on the forum said that the 120 is best since it doesn’t create too much heat, but I see forums of people with my setup plus a REDROCKET card, that is way way way more heat then the video card I would use.
Currently I am only using one Quadro FX4800 and wonder how much I will gain in adding another video card.

How much speed with I gain? 10% gain? 20% gain?

    AUDIO.
I am able to conform EDL’s, but I am unable to get any audio into the sytem. I went through the manual and enabled any audio where it says in the manual, and when I click on the Quicktimes to extract audio I get something like this.

“Unable to extract, Audio Extraction from Quicktime not enabled”
Anyone get an error similar to this?

I’ll have lots more questions and I have been hammering through the manual, but somethings they just glance over, like audio.

All and All, DaVinci is amazing and I very excited to be using it.

    Thanks for bringing it up

Same here. But can you bring in a WAV or AIFF created externally?

Resolve will not read the audio from the Quicktime file. You will need to extract it into a AIFF or WAV file and then load it in the Conform page.

If you right-click in the Conform page on the timeline you should be able to see a selection for audio.

I had this issue before too – but looking at the coming update, it seems to be fixed.

Scratchy and bumpy? Are you getting real-time playback? Is it stereo?

Not StereoScopic, but yeah and Stereo WAV file. Are you not having any problems with Audio?

I haven’t had any problems with audio except for not being able to extract audio in 7.0.2
