    Hello,

I have a project with multi video layers from FCP, sometimes 4 at the same time, with dissolve and transparency…

How could I merge this 4 EDLs in one in Davinci ? But I’m afraid that this very important option doesn’t exist… it exist on scratch, and in Color, but not in Davinci… Then if you have an idea, you are very welcome, and very welcome in Switzerland to have a drink.

You basically flatten the timeline in FCP into one video track and then make the EDL. Resolve won’t do this for you.

nevermind… i had a way to merge EDL’s but you need a single layer of video for it to work properly.

There’s a nice program from EditMule called Auto Collapse which is making it easier.

    hello,

ok, but I have 4 images overprinted (I upload an image to explain you), if I can only import one EDL in Davinci, how can I grade all clips ? It seems to support only one line with cross disolve.

For something like this you’d have to bring it into DaVinci on one track with no dissolves, grade, export as source clips and re-create the fades in Final Cut.
