We’ve tested this many times already in various combo – Resolve on MacBook Pro controlling a Resolve on MacPro and vice versa and a Resolve Mac Pro controlling and Resolve Linux and vice versa.
Basically the two Resolve machines need to be able to “see” each other on the network and have the same project/media locally on the two Resolve machines. The easiest I’ve found is to prepare the project on one machine and then export it out and then import into the other machine. For the media, you’ll just need to change the parent directory since it may be in a different directory structure.
I’ve yet to try remote grading literally into different locations as so far it has been within close proximity just to demonstrate the feature. Just need to figure out how to get both machines to “see” other across the internet 🙂
